APN Offices  Hamilton  Brisbane:

This office building, formerly the premises for Sam's Seafood, underwent a complete refurbishment in 2007 to provide office space and carparking for a new tenant. C-Bus lighting control was employed throughout providing scheduled operation of office lighting as well as exterior security lighting. A colour touch screen at reception provides monitoring and control of all areas on a floor-plan view and a cleaners' mode is available to provide a 50% lighting mode after-hours. Meeting rooms are fitted with dimmable fluorescent fixtures to provide comfortable environments for presentations and training sessions. Office personnel are able to actuate a timed period of air-conditioning from the screen at weekends or evenings. In addition, sensors in the carpark provide lighting on-demand in conjunction with extraction fans to remove vehicle emissions.

Integration with a Concept access control system allows additional 'intelligent' switching of lights and informs C-Bus if the building is unoccupied etc..

Kedron-Wavell Services Club  Chermside  Brisbane:
An ageing lighting control system at this venue was becoming unreliable so C-Bus was retro-fitted throughout. All lighting in the club, including outdoor illumination and a war memorial is scheduled to operate depending on opening and closing times and with a reduced lighting mode for after-hours cleaning. A signal from the club's audio system extinguishes lighting in all public areas for the duration of the ode reading in the evening. Outdoor dining areas employ electric heaters which are now controlled dependant on ambient temperature during opening times.

Underwood Marketplace Shopping Centre  Underwood  Brisbane:

All common lighting areas - the main mall, carpark, external floodlighting and signage is controlled according to business hours and sunrise and sunset times to allow complete unattended control of this centre. A desk-mounted touch screen in the manager's office provides a visual indication of which lighting circuits are on or off, and can be overridden if required. A single wallplate in a secure area allows cleaners to operate a 50% lighting mode, an additional button provides security staff with an 'everything on' to illuminate the entire premises if necessary.

Niche Hotel  Springfield Lakes  Springfield:

Daytime and evening lighting scenes are actuated automatically providing a welcoming mood for guests in this hotel. Entrance, reception and lounge lighting can be manually controlled from a touch screen at the main desk, giving staff complete control. The boardroom can be prepared in advance and easily set-up for presentations and meetings.

Avenue Dental  Caloundra  Sunshine Coast:

A wall-mounted touch screen by the reception desk allows the first arriving staff member to turn on all necessary lighting from one 'Entry' button. At the same time, air pumps, compressors and the water supply are actuated. An 'Exit' button effectively provides the ability to shut down all lighting and services at the end of the business day providing the practice owner peace of mind that nothing has been left running. Lighting in unattended examination rooms can easily be turned off from reception.

Medici Medical Centre  Toowoomba:

Sensors in the surgery entrance and offices allow maximum energy efficiency by providing illumination if personnel and staff are present. A touch screen near the reception point allows a simple visual indication of lighting in examination rooms, so unattended areas can easily be turned off and on from the main desk.
